Is sending emails using bubble native email provider down?

Yes. Issue with bubble/sendgrid not sending the default emails: https://status.bubble.io/

Sendgrid blocked their account from sending. (this is pretty common for Sendgrid to maintain their sending reputation)

You should be using your own Sendgrid API key or another ESP, like Postmark anyway — for production apps at the very least.

no i havent. im just tinkering around as a newbie. didnt have to set up anything before
