Bubble Workload Usage Spike

Wo4rkload Usage Spike kept showing up in the app am currently building

Have you checked your logs?

This might be a flaw in the “spike” notification system.
If the app is not live yet the daily workload consumption will be very low, and any WU usage would show up as a spike when compared to the average usage.

Check the logs and check how much WU the app is actually consuming.

I think Bubble should set a minimum amount for it to be reported as a spike. No need to report 400 WUs of consumption

Okay, the app is not live yet. But won’t it have negative effect on the app? And i really appreciate you for the response

No this won’t negatively affect the app.

The notification is there solely to notify you that there is a spike in WU consumption (which you’re paying for). Sometimes developers accidentally create infinite loops or other WU intensive operations, and the motification is there to make us check that everything is alright/avoid very high fees at the end of the month.

Just to rest assured as well, you can go to “Settings” then in the “App Plan” tab, make sure that “Overages are disabled” is checked. By this you guarantee that even if a real WU spike happens, it will never exceed the limit allowed in your plan so you can never face an unwelcomed surprise when it comes to invoicing.
However, if all your WU are consumed, your app won’t open anymore unless you add more WUs or subscribe to a higher plan.

Hope this helps !

Alright thanks Nico

Uhmm, i just disabled the overages now. But you talking about the app not opening when the WU is consumed isn’t friendly
