I am testing my mobile app on BubbleGo, closing in to release my app at the end of April.
I am pretty worried about the loading time of both horizontal and vertical lists, even with very few numbers of items . It appears slowly and not smoothly as it used to be before I guess 20th of March.
I also notice some other views that behave in the same way, without any list.
I tried on several devices and it’s the same issue.
Anyone else? Is it still an ongoing fix by the team?
We have the same issue - do you have it where it’s jumping around? We have a messaging app, and it’s gone from working to unusable - been really disappointed with the native mobile
Over the last few days load time has seems crazy. And that’s with development data where i have lists of about 50 items. I’m worried about live performance where I currently have over 800 items and estimate a much higher number in a few months.
And this is without talking about the crazy buggy load movements that happen while the elements on the view load.
Hi everyone, thanks for flagging. This is definitely not expected behavior. if you haven’t already, please file bug reports and we’ll prioritize investigating this issue - thanks!
Hey guys been having the same problem with vertical lists on my app for some days now, but today my app literally stopped working after i went to the page where i have the vertical list ( buttons stopped working i could only go from tab to tab) .
in the video: the page with the vertical list is « historique » before i went to it the app was working but after i went to it the app stopped working
The app keeps crashing or lagging heavily when loading larger lists with images. Feels like there’s no proper lazy loading/virtualization like in repeating groups on web. Right now we can’t really use the feed feature for larger datasets.
Even with smaller, it lags sometimes..
Any updates? thx
Vertical lists and horizontal lists (not short / selectable lists) have virtualization out of the box and should theoretically be quite performant. We are obviously seeing that this is not true in certain scenarios (it seems like images might be a culprit here) so please keep filing bug reports through the support bot at bubble.io/home. Our support team is aware and will be escalating reports of poor performance on lists. Thank you!
