I’m trying to build an app to help manage the rota at a doctors surgery and am really struggling to get started. The rota would need to be in calendar format (week/month), split into AM/PM, account for which doctors are present on any given day, and what that doctor is doing (so on-calls etc. could be swapped in the event of leave/sickness)
Am I better off building this using repeating groups? A calendar or spreadsheet plugin? Or is there some other plugin that would be ideal that I don’t know about?
I have attached an image of our rather old school excel rota file to give an idea of what we’re currently working with and the sort of data I am trying to visualise
