Button doesnt work on mobile, but does on the destop

Hello,

I have started trying the new responsiveness feature. However, I am having an issue with the workflows. I created a simple workflow to navigate between pages when clicking a button. These buttons work fine on the destop but does not on the mobile view.

Any thoughts? Can share (just let me know how)

Yeah… it’s impossible to say without seeing it…

So feel free to share a link to the page preview and/or editor.

Here is a link to the page:
I will figure out how to share the editor.
Thank you

I will figure out how to share the editor.

Just copy and paste the URL from the editor (make sure you set your app permission to ‘anyone can view’)

done

I’ve taken a look… and it’s working perfectly, on both desktop and mobile…

(at least it’s doing exactly what you’ve set it up to do). There is no issue with anything not working as expected.

I’m assuming from your post that the way it’s working is not your intention?

So what are you expecting to happen?

I am on a Pixel 6, and for whatever reason when i press the buttons (yellow and red on the first page) they do not seem to be working on that mobile. it just does nothing. but does on my desktop. thank you for checking. I will test it on a few other places and see what I can do.

Which page are you on?

the index page, so the very first page where it doesnt have anything below about title

I just tried it on a different phone, the buttons seem to load something, but then doesnt go anywhere. Strange.

Well I can 100% promise you it’s working exactly as expected (it’s doing exactly what you’ve set it up to do).

Admittedly, the way you’ve set it up doesn’t make a lot of sense - and I can pretty well guess why you think it’s not working…

But without knowing exactly what what the intended behaviour is there’s not much point speculating about what you might be trying to do.

I’d recommend starting by learning the basics of using Bubble (read the manual and go through the basic tutorials) to learn basic things like navigation.

This is my second app, but this is the first time I have used more responsive designs. Why do you think I think its not working? Its doing what I want on the destop, but its not doing what I want on two different mobiles. So I am not sure. Anything really.

Also its been about a year and half since my last one, and things have changed a little so I wasnt sure if I have missed something about those changes.

This has got nothing to do with responsiveness…

You simply haven’t set any workflows on the buttons on certain pages (and multiple buttons directing to the same page on others) - it doesn’t make any sense.

Plus you’re basically duplicating the page - which is not the way to go about building an app.

As I said, the app is working exactly as you’ve set it up to work (obviously)… so if that’s not what you meant to do (and I’m guessing it’s not) then you’ll nee to learn how to set things up the way you intend.

But look into understanding basic navigation, basic workflows, and reusable elements as a starting point.

UPDATE: Ah, I can see now you’ve added some navigation workflows on your other page… so you’re on the right track now.

i just tidied it up for anyone who wants to have a look.

So I created a test page, and some test buttons from scratch and they seem to work. so I assume somewhere along the lines when I was fiddling with the different elements I had clicked something which interacted with mobile view. So I am just going to redo (I didnt get very far in making it so its fine) thanks for the help!
