Can a video automatically load in full screen?

I would like a you tube video to automatically play in full screen when pressed or clicked.

Does anyone know if this is possible, and if so, how?

I wonder if Youtube has a URL parameter for this? If so, that’s the way to go.

If not, here’s some ideas / hacky solutions that could work:

  • Run a JS function to click the “full screen” icon once a user clicks play
  • When the user clicks play, open a popup in Bubble and set it to full screen height and width (with CSS Tools plugin, or similar) and include a full screen iframe of the video set to auto-play within that.
