Can I use Bubble AI to generate a single ui component like a popup?

Hello, I have an app that was built before Bubble AI was launched (2 years ago).

In an existing page (not generated by AI), I want to create a popup using AI. Is this possible? How? Is there an AI button I’m not seeing in the editor.

Yes, you can use Bubble AI on older pages, but only for generating new elements, not editing existing ones.
There’s no separate “AI button” inside the editor. You just:

  1. Right-click anywhere on the page

  2. Choose “Generate with AI”

  3. Then describe the popup you want

Bubble will create the popup for you, even on a page that wasn’t originally built with AI.

If the right-click menu doesn’t show the AI option, just refresh the editor, it sometimes takes a moment to load.

I don’t see the AI generator on any non-AI created apps either :frowning:

Correction - NoCodeFusion doesn’t seem to be working though.

Looks like the AI option just isn’t enabled on that app yet. When it’s active, “Generate with AI” always shows up in the right-click menu.

try creating a brand-new blank page and right-click there. If the AI option still doesn’t appear, then your editor/account doesn’t have AI Builder enabled yet.

To clarify here: the AI agent is only available in AI-generated apps at the moment
