Cannot Modify the Date Range Operation :end date in Condition?

In a way I am continuing this topic:

How you you manipulate a Date Range's :end date?

Hey all I’m stuck at a problem with Date Range that confuses me. When you edit a date ranger, you can edit the :start part as much as you want, but Bubble doesn’t allow manipulating the :end of the range. Take a look at the example below. You can add 7 days to the first date in the range just fine, but if you try to manipulate the :end part, the dropdown shows the following: [image] Is this a bug, or can’t ranges be manipulated in this way?

Unfortunately there seems to be no way to modify the end of a date range to add extra days, months…Its only available on the start of a date range.

I am trying a create a few days window each way on a search, both on the start and end date via a filter on a RG.

Is there any workaround that doesn’t involved modifying the actual data?

With some experimenting I found a workaround using custom states and it seems to do the job as a mini hack.

For anyone interested its simply a matter of adding a custom state to each of the date elements (for me it was date from and date to)

Then adding a workflow for each of them, so when they are changed make changes to this date’s state.

Then where I actually call my dates in on the date range, I refer to the element and the state which has already been modified on the prior workflow

With that said it would still be nice to have the functionality available to add time onto a :end date range.
