Cannot search for a user's email address

I am trying to search for a user’s email address. It i’s not listed here. Im not sure why it isn’t listed where it should be.

Hi there, @ParalaxMuscrat … the short answer is you can’t search on the email address…

@emmanuel, why the email field isn’t available to search on when using auto complete drop down search? Is there any way to enable it? or is it a security issue? Thanks, Levon

As Emmanuel points out, though, you can create your own email address field and search on it.

Thanks for that. Seems weird we have to use an alt email field in my database. But that’s exactly what I did, just create another field and when the user is created, the alt email field is also created.
