Can't upload Javascript file to root

HI Bubblers,

I’ve just upgraded my plan as I want to implement some PWA functionality to my app, specifically I want my app to show up when someone presses ‘Share’ from anywhere in their phone. This can be done through https://web.dev/web-share-target/.

But I need to register a service worker, and I can’t seem to upload a .js file to the root folder! I went to SEO>Upload, clicked the file “sw.js”, and the upload window just closes. I tried a few times, reloaded the page, tried it in Firefox and Chrome and it just won’t work. I’ve seen pics of other users uploading a .js file - why won’t it work on mine?

Also, does anyone have a Bubble-specific dummies guide for implementing a service worker, native share addition etc? Finding it very slow going.

Howdy all,

So it looks like you can’t upload an empty .js file :slight_smile:

I’ll take solace in that this article said to use a blank file :slight_smile:

All looks to be working now!
