Collaboration? Have I misunderstood?

Just double-checking, am I right in thinking that if I’m on the ‘starter’ plan, I can’t invite someone to collarborate on my app without upgrading? If so, this is honestly fairly disgusting.

I don’t need the Growth plan. As a new Bubble user, surely you want people to build apps using your platform? If I can’t manage it myself (which I can’t) and need to pay someone to bring my build to fruition, using YOUR platform, what benefit does Bubble gain by stopping me doing that and putting hurdles in my way by forcing me to pay for an expensive upgrade I don’t need at this time?

Surely you WANT people to build apps, and shouldn’t be making it harder for them to do so by employing questionable tactics like this to push them into tiers they don’t want or need?

Not going to lie, I’ve loved it so far but this has left a really, really sour taste in my mouth.

Not a big fan of the pricing, and I believe seat-based pricing should be introduced (the way other platforms do)

That being said, in the below case

I’ve known most of the professional agencies and freelancers to have agency accounts with Bubble that allow them to be added as collaborators to any application (even when the app is on a free plan). Maybe this is something you can check with the person you’re engaging with?

I agree, seat based pricing is much fairer. But in any case, this isn’t an agency so he doesn’t have an agency plan. It is someone I’ve found through the Bubble forum, but budget constraints mean I haven’t been able to work with an agency unfortunately.
