Copy and paste how to?

1- User selects value from search box
2- User presses button
3- Value from the search box is copied to a text box and stays there.

Ive asked this before but i still dont know how to :frowning: any help would be appreciated and if possible be a little detailed with the answer. Thank you very much in advance.

Set a custom state with the “typed text” from the search box.
