Would be great to have the ability to copy layouts and paste them across other elements.

Or to have styles apply to these layouts 
I’d love to be able to set one style that applies a layout to multiple elements.

Yea exactly, just the entire tab of settings similar to the conditional tab.

Right now I am trying the new resp engine. And rebuilding the frontend of old pages with it.
The option to copy layout from one groups and elements to other ones would save a lot of time and make process much easer
