Hi there! I am building a chat feature for one of my app clients and I want to make the repeating group of messages automatically show the END of the list (essentially scroll to the bottom of the page, rather than load at the top).
Example of what I have so far here:
Ignore the formatting since you aren’t logged in

Hello! I am currently in development of a web messaging app and I am looking in to how to scroll to the bottom of the repeating group that contains the messages automatically. I have read through a couple other posts about this, but the solution is not what I’m looking for. If anybody could help, that’d be great!
It seems the repeating group is designed to start at the top of a list and scroll down. But can you configure it somehow to start at the bottom of a list and scroll up?
This is all regardless of how the data is sorted - I just want the default behaviour to start at the bottom and scroll up.
This is for a chat feature so people type at the bottom and content flows up…but on load the list defaults to the top. I’ve tried scroll to entry- and thats not working as I would expect. Though I am trying…
