Data format for geographic address field type

Hi,

I’ve problems so save an address for example “Kanalstraße 26, 88085 Langenargen, Deutschland” into a field of type “geographic address”. I try to edit the data directly in the Data backend but nothing gets saved - the field remains empty?

What are the requirements to the format to the data so that the field can save it?

P.S: Google API is setup correctly!

It seems to me that it is not possible to directly edit a compo of type ‘Geographical Address’. What you can do is convert it to text format, edit it in this format and later save it in ‘Geographical Address’ format.
