Does a "Missing Plugin" still work?

I found 2 Plugins in my application that have been removed by the owner, and my customers rely on them daily for Stripe data and refunds :point_left: especially this one these days. But after testing the app, the API calls from these plugins are still working.

So I am curious @eve, do Missing Plugins still work in an application?
(here API calls apparently work for now, would workflows or elements still work)

And if so,
To what extent can we rely on it functioning? (how long will it still work, indefinitely or does bubble delete the data behind deprecated plugins?)
How can we mitigate against it not functioning?

@emmanuel sorry to pull you into this, but I have a feeling this type of question would need to be answered beyond first level support in the end anyway - any feedback on the above?

It should still work if you don’t upgrade/downgrade the plugin. It’s quite easy to test, so let us know if it’s not.
