Dynamic Content and SEO/Indexing on Filter Pages

Hey everyone,

Setting up a new site and I’m wondering how exactly filtered, dynamic content works in regards to SEO and how Google indexes that content/page.

To keep things simple, say I have a search page where users can sort by product and color. I use a repeating group to pull in items that match the filters they chose (example, red and backpack).

That said, I also want to get some SEO juice about red backpacks, so I also pull copy onto the results page when those filtered options are set (a paragraph about red backpacks). When they then search for blue t-shirts, those items pull into the repeating group and the copy is now a paragraph about blue t-shirts.

What’s the best way to go about this from an SEO standpoint? How can I set up my site to deliver SEO value for the most common search combinations?

Can Google read and interpret common filter combinations as their own pages and display that in a SERP? Or do I need to create those pages with non-dynamic content?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
