Email charts with sendgrid template

Has anyone implemented chart images in SendGrid dynamic templates? I haven’t tested anything yet so I’d love to hear what has or hasn’t worked for others that have attempted it.

The emails would be triggered from a scheduled job so the logic of running and converting a chart to an image and sending it to the SendGrid template would have to work as full backend workflow.

I appreciate any guidance you might have.

I would probably put a substitution tag into the Sendgrid Template and use the @copilot Sendgrid plugin to replace the substitution tag in Sendgrid with the chart’s image url.
