@grgrsmth, we have discussed this with the developers. The reason for using Heroku is due to changes in browser policies for fetching images. We will create an investigation for the developers to check this behavior further and will update you as soon as possible. We are sorry for this inconvenience :pray:

@daviddr17, could you confirm that you were using private Bubble images? We tried removing the HTTPS in front of the URLs, but errors were still present.

I was using public images, uploaded via bubble, but not protected by privacy rules or anything else.

We are currently experiencing some temporary issues with the latest 5.5 version of the PDF Conjurer plugin. Our team is actively working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

As a temporary solution, we recommend using the 5.4 version of the PDF Conjurer plugin. This version should work without any issues in the meantime.

i cant’t write arabic in pdf even by arabic fonts. characters printed left to right and it is wrong

I am encountering an issue with the “Table” plugin I am using in Bubble.io.

Despite the following settings, the column headers of the table are not being displayed:

  1. The “Create header row in this table?” checkbox is checked
  2. “body” is selected for the “Header text style”
  3. “内訳” is entered in the “First Column Header” field
  4. The “Use second column?” checkbox is checked
  5. “価格 (円)” is entered in the “Second column header” field

The settings appear to be correct, but the headers are still not showing up. Could you please provide any advice on how to resolve this issue?

Also, if this is a known bug, I would appreciate any information regarding the expected timeline for a fix.

I understand you must be busy, but I would be grateful if you could look into this matter and provide a response.

Can PDF conjurer Handle RTL Languages ?

We investigated the possibility of Pdf Conjurer handling Rtl languages and concluded that it can handle them easily, but it is important to keep in mind that not all fonts can be read. If you have a text in Arabic, Chinese, etc., please experiment with the
top fonts for these languages and see which one suits you best. For example, for a PDF in Arabic, you can use Amiri.

As you can see from the screens below both Arabic and Chinese characters are successfully displaying, with the correct font.

At the moment the plugin does not support Unicode, but thank you for this suggestion, we are always looking to improve our products, our devs will check if Unicode reading is compatible with our plugin’s library, and if there are any updates i will make sure to get back to you.

I don’t know if this issue has already been addressed, but I’m facing the following problem:
In version 5.4.0 or any other version, I am unable to generate the PDF.
There is no error in the debug, it just does not generate the PDF.
I saw that someone had a question related to the image workflow.
I carried out a test, removed the images that were in the workflow and it worked.
Do you know if you were already aware of this problem?

For the “Action Insert an Image on PDF Model” to function correctly, the image you wish to insert must now be stored in the file manager prior to use.

To ensure optimal performance and to avoid any errors, it is essential that you update the plugin to its latest version. This update enhances the stability and efficiency of image handling within PDF documents.

I am experiencing an issue with the “Add table” function as described in the documentation at this link.

Specifically, the feature described in the following section is not functioning as expected:

  1. Column’s header (1 to 20): the respective column header label, if you do not check the option “Create header row in this table?”, Its content will be ignored, on the other hand, if you leave this cell blank and check the option, the cell will be blank

Despite setting the Column’s header, it is not being displayed in the table columns. Could you please assist in resolving this issue?

We are reaching out regarding your previous question, about the Unicode support in the Pdf Conjurer plugin, we are excited to share that we have Added Unicode Support and have updated the plugin to version 5.7.0.

To create and see the symbols you have to use a font that supports unicode language.

  1. Load the font in workflow as in this screenshot below

  2. Define the new style for the font

  3. Use the font in the Create text action

Note: Some fonts don’t support Unicode language, make sure to check that before using it.

Could you kindly update the plugin within your app to this latest version and confirm whether everything is now operating smoothly?

Hi. Since you took over Conjurer the ability to download has stopped.

now the custom createPDFNew does not download.

NOTHING HAS BEEN CHANGED.

I switched Save to database to yes.

Summary of Steps Taken

  1. Enabled Saving the PDF to the Database:
  • In the Conjure PDFModel A step:
    • Set “Save to Database?” to “yes”.
  1. Created a Workflow for PDF Uploaded Event:
  • Created a new workflow for the custom event “PDF uploaded and available”.
  • Added an action to set a custom state PDF URL with PDFModel A's Saved PDF's URL.
  1. Set Up Button Click Workflow:
  • Triggered the createPdfNew custom event.
  • Hid the popup invoice.
  • Added a JavaScript action to download the PDF.
  1. Ensured Custom State is Correctly Set:
  • Verified that the custom state PDF URL is set with PDFModel A's Saved PDF's URL.
  • Displayed the custom state value in a text element to ensure the URL is correctly set.
  1. Verified Element ID:
  • Ensured the element where the custom state PDF URL is stored has an ID attribute set to pdfElement.
  1. Updated JavaScript Code for Download:
  • Used JavaScript to fetch the URL from the custom state and trigger the download:

As requested, I wanted to attach an example of a generated PDF where the column headers are not displayed correctly. However, I was unable to attach the PDF to the forum. Could you please provide an email address or another method to send the file? Additionally, I am sharing the workflow configuration used for generating the table.

  1. Workflow Configuration: [Details]

In the workflow, I have set the column headers as follows:

  • Column 1: “内訳”
  • Column 2: “価格 (円)”
  • Column 3: “数量”
  • Column 4: “金額 (円)”

Despite these settings, the headers are not showing up in the generated table. I would appreciate any advice or solutions you can provide to resolve this issue.

Incorporating the download is a very simple process, if you don’t want to save the URL to the database you just need to set the Conjure PDFModel action to have the Save to the database field as “no” and the Disable the browser download as “no”. This is way you don’t have to save the file to the DB, and it will download once the button or the event responsible for it is clicked on your side.

Unfortunately did not work. I have noticed a few things since the changes.

I am on the latest version.

  1. I have everything how it was prior to the take over, and it was working perfectly normally before.

  2. It will not force a download unless I add a javascript which is odd.
  3. When I add the javascript it allows a file to download but, says 'file wasnt available on site ’

It was working fine before prior to the swap in ownership. Nothing has changed.

I have cleared cache. Re uploaded images. Still the same.

Unless someone can show me from the images, I am at a loss.
