Is PDF conjurer no longer supporting "PDF finished uploading and is available in element state"?

I can’t find anything in the latest documents about how to save a PDF after conjuring

Up until 4 days ago this workflow was still working to save PDFs, but now it doesn’t work anymore. This whole time admittedly I was on v.5.4.0 which is quite old…

I’m not using BE workflows, I’m just trying to do this in regular workflows.

When I upgraded to the latest I had to redo this entire workflow because the PDF model element was no longer recognized - it was showing as “missing element”.

Please help, otherwise it looks like I will need to redo everything using BE workflows.
I can’t find anything in the documentation https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/pdf-conjurer about “PDF finished uploading and is available in element state” so I’m wondering if PDF conjurer switched to only supporting BE workflows.

It seems that all these topics are related

Yes , these are of similar kind only no support from bubble as of now

This just started happening to an app of mine a few days ago as well. 95% of pdfs generate without an image but then every once in awhile one has one. We have not pushed anything live for over a week and this started since then so it must be on Bubble’s end.

Whats weird is if you use an image that is not hosted on bubble like this one here, it works in your generation.

So I’ve completely given up on PDF generators. I tried Image and PDF generator by TechBlocks but it didn’t seem to work at all unless the HTML attribute / the group was actually visible on the page - which in my case is a terrible user experience, I have primarily users on mobile and I don’t want them to have to have an extra-wide page with a print-size PDF.

Instead I had to go back to something quite primitive which is just building a simple webpage that looks like a PDF format and saving the dynamic URL for this webpage where I would normally store my PDF file.

I’ve been in contact with essential team. This was their reply:

Unfortunately, an update released by Bubble on Friday, March 21, 2025, broke dozens of PDF generation plugins. Apparently, images hosted on Bubble are no longer showing up in PDFs. We’re in contact with the Bubble team and currently investigating the issue.

In the meantime, a temporary workaround we’ve found is to add :processed with imgix’s url at the end of the image URLs sent to the PDF. In our tests, the images started showing up again.

As soon as we have updates, we’ll release a fix to the plugin.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for reaching out and for using our products—we truly appreciate it. :folded_hands:

The Dev team has resolved the issue on the Heroku service side, and everything should be up and running now. Please check and let us know if the issue is resolved and if the plugins are functioning as expected. :folded_hands:

We shared an update earlier this morning stating that the issue has been fixed and everything should be working fine now. You can check the details here:
