I’m building a video processing app in Bubble and need help completing a Cloudinary video upload integration. The API is already configured but I’m having trouble connecting the final pieces in the workflow.
WHAT’S ALREADY DONE:
-
Cloudinary account set up with unsigned upload preset (scarefx_unsigned)
-
API Connector configured with correct endpoint: https://api.cloudinary.com/v1_1/dgosrfbzc/video/upload
-
Body type set to Form-data
-
Parameters configured: file (send file enabled), upload_preset (text: scarefx_unsigned), public_id (text)
-
API call initialized successfully
-
Basic workflow structure created with upload button
WHAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED:
-
Connect the file uploader element’s value to the API call’s file parameter in the workflow
-
Ensure the workflow properly passes the video file to Cloudinary
-
Capture and store the returned secure_url in the database
-
Test the complete upload flow to confirm it works
THE PROBLEM: When I click on the API call step in the workflow, I can’t find where to set the dynamic parameter values (specifically connecting my file uploader to the file parameter). This is likely just a Bubble UI/configuration issue that someone experienced can solve quickly.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-
Proven experience with Bubble.io workflows and API integrations
-
Experience with file uploads in Bubble
-
Familiarity with API Connector plugin
-
Bonus: Previous experience with Cloudinary or similar media APIs
WHAT I’LL PROVIDE:
-
Editor access to my Bubble app
-
Cloudinary account credentials
-
Screen share/call if needed for faster resolution
DELIVERABLES:
-
Working video upload functionality (user clicks button → video uploads to Cloudinary → URL stored in database)
-
Brief explanation of what was fixed (5 minutes max)
-
Quick verification test in my app
TIMELINE: Need this completed within 24-48 hours of hire. The actual fix should only take 1-2 hours for someone familiar with Bubble.
BUDGET: $75-150 USD depending on experience level. This is a quick fix, not a complex build.
TO APPLY: Please include:
-
Your experience with Bubble.io (years/projects completed)
-
Have you worked with file uploads and API integrations in Bubble before?
-
Your availability in the next 48 hours
-
Your rate for this 1-2 hour job
NOTE: This is genuinely a small fix for someone who knows Bubble well. If you’re quoting more than 3 hours of work or over $200, you’re likely overcomplicating it. Looking for someone who can jump in, spot the issue quickly, and fix it efficiently.
