Floating Footer Solution

Hi,

I have added a Footer here:

Editor: https://bubble.io/page?type=page&name=floating_footer_solution&id=forum4&tab=tabs-1
Frontend: https://forum4.bubbleapps.io/version-test/floating_footer_solution?debug_mode=true

Showing both the issue of group on groups footer and the solution found in the forum for this which is groups below groups footer.

On the front end click Show Short > Show Long > Show Short on the top example and Show Short > Show Long > Show Short on the bottom solution to see the difference in footer display.

What I’d like to know is - is this the only solution? As that will make my desktop page very tall - but does it matter that the page is very tall if no one sees the actual height?

I would love to help but I will need a bit more context. What is your goal? You would like to build a page with a list of articles, displaying only the title and excerpt, when the user clicks, the whole text expands? And when expanded you would like to have the footer floating at all times at the bottom?

Is that what you would like to accomplish?

No the lorem ipsum is only to demonstrate that the 2 repeating groups have different heights. When 2 repeating groups have different heights, the footer should display directly below the shortest repeating group, not directly below the longest repeating group.

My question is, is the solution I have displayed, the only solution or is there still a way to have the repeating groups on top of each other rather than below each other.
