Hi,
I have been working on Bubble for 3-4 months and hope that our new portal will start to go live to US universities and colleges next week.
As I do final tweaks there is one major area of annoyance. I have a page that has 3 large groups - one for profile collection and 2 for profile views that show it all formatted as users will see it. I now wish I had done on different pages due to this issue but that would take a lot of time to modify.
I have been trying for days to get rid of whitespace as these are different lengths (longest is about 4000 pixels and shortest about 2,500 pixels.
The problem is none of the 3 large parent groups (which contain many groups and repeating groups themselves) seem to be reducing in height or reducing the page height when collapsing any groups within them (all set to hide when collapsed). Therefore if I do the suggestion of making all parent groups length of the longest and for the shorter ones add a collapsing hidden group to account for the difference (i.e. for the 2,500 pixel one a collapsing hiding group of 1,500 pixels) this does not do anything.
I can add one collapsing hidden group outside of the 3 parents groups and that is reducing page height but I cannot add any conditions to that or it does not work so that isn’t going to resolve for all parent groups. Also there is more or less whitespace depending on whether all or any groups are hidden within the parents group because the collapsing hides within the parent group but does not seem to reduce parents groups height.
I am hoping there is a solution as plan was to start to go live tomorrow and I have spent days on this… Anyone? Thanks!
