So I’m new to bubble and I’m trying to set up a login page. When I place text and input fields in the editor they line up perfectly but when I preview they go all wonky. Could someone help please ? (Screenshots attached)
This is my struggle when i started bubbling but I believe what you’re looking for is responsiveness. Try searching in the forum on all thread related to responsiveness.
Yes, try the responsiveness editor. It also help to group both forms in a group, and set the proper margins in the responsiveness editor. You also may want to check the “set max width option”.
Note: when you also group each label/field pair, it can be that the order of your form changes when using “Tab” to go to the next field.
I don’t understand why it would be wonky looking at the preview in desktop, though. I can see in the responsive editor that the layout changes for different devices, but the view for desktop looks correct, in the UI builder it’s correct, but in the preview (on desktop) it’s wonky.
It’s because the live view is wider. It is to do with responsiveness as mentioned. Select those left inputs and text elements and put them in a group. Do the same with the elements on the right. Then for those newly created groups, check the box on them that sets a max width when page stretched to 100. You should see how it acts differently then. It’s a fiddly learning curve for responsiveness in bubble but once you get it, it does work well.
Aha! I get it. I just did it and it worked. Thank you!!! I’m so excited.
