Hi there folks,
I’m relatively new to Bubble and am working to build a subscription-based application as my first project. I’m interested in using Chargebee to handle subscriptions, at least initially, since I’m on a short timeline to launch. I’m eager to use their out-of-the-box drop-in scripts (link to code snippets here) but have two problems:
- I’m trying to use @copilot’s lovely components plugin to execute the necessary JS as a workflow when a user presses a button. However, I know basically ZERO code and am struggling to understand how exactly to do this. I’m sure this is a simple problem and am hoping one of you kind Bubblers might be willing to nudge me in the right direction.
- If using the drop-in script (as opposed to integrating via api), I need some way of passing users’ subscription data between Chargebee and Bubble. This is because some pages/groups on our site will be gated. Again, I’m hoping to avoid building a custom plug-in and was considering using @mo.salama’s Hubspot plugin, along with Chargebee’s native Hubspot integration to sync data back and forth. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that strategy. Also open to being told that these ideas are terrible and I should shift strategies.
