High level - User logged in/ out

Hi,

I am a little confused by what i’ve seen in tutorials. I’m trying to understand for a user logged in/ out, should I be creating a whole new page for the logged in and have the user redirected to it? Or should i be creating 2 versions of an index page in one and hiding elements? (latter being extremely messy and annoying).

Have an “on page load” and if not logged in take them to a “Logged Out Page”.
