Hiring Bubble Dev: Full Stripe Integration for Practice Management Platform (Metered Billing, Invoicing, Team Licensing)

Hey Bubble devs — we’re looking for a strong freelancer or small team to help us implement a complete payment system rebuild inside our HIPAA-compliant practice management platform, Waiting Room.

What’s the Work?

  • Stripe integration (subscriptions, Connect accounts, metered billing)
  • Invoicing & receipts (dynamic pricing based on session type/duration, therapist tax settings, etc.)
  • Client payments + therapist dashboards
  • No-show logic (including session credit returns)
  • Multi-license management (practice owners can buy multiple licenses and assign them to team members)
  • Custom promo code system for referrals
  • Email integration via Loops plugin

What You’ll Need:

  • Deep Bubble.io experience (especially backend workflows + conditional logic)
  • Advanced Stripe knowledge (no Stripe Invoice API — we’re avoiding fees)
  • Familiarity with building custom dashboards, session metering, and role-based access
  • Ability to work with an already-structured database and extend existing workflows
  • Clean, maintainable implementation — function over form

We’ve already got the product requirements written out in detail — all you need to do is execute cleanly and communicate well.

Just FYI. Bubble is not currently HIPPA compliant.

They have never claimed to be yet either.

Well, I give you a lot of credit for being honest and telling it like it is.

Everyone who says they can do workarounds, etc., are just not being truthful.

Added: How other countries handle HIPAA is another situation. But for the US, Bubble won’t work.

Yeah. I have turned down a lot of work by just being honest. Either because they need HIPPA compliance or even just because I have seen so many people not succeed without certain criteria. I value honesty over a payday any day. It always comes back around. We aren’t hurting for projects either. So it seems like honesty works. :blush:

Take it for what it is: HIPAA compliance on Bubble is impossible.

We can build the project on HIPAA-compliant infrastructure; you’re looking at spending at least 30k on the project, including compliance auditing by an independent partner.
