Technical Product Manager
Upfront (allupfront.com) is a fast-growing, early stage startup offering a SaaS platform that makes childcare data easy to access for government agencies and nonprofits. We are fixing the childcare industry through accurate, complete data so the government, parents, and providers can all make decisions and operate with optimal results. Our platform cleans, validates, and provides vital insights on childcare data (price, hours, location, availability, etc.) and serves as a central hub for every stakeholder. We’ve seen rapid growth in only a few years with clients spanning multiple states, counties, and cities.
We are hiring our first full-time Technical Product Manager to lead product work across the company and help scale our product to more clients. Our ideal profile is a former Bubble.io engineer looking to move into a Product role. As a rapidly growing startup, our team wears many hats, and we’re looking for a new member of our team that’s motivated and passionate about our product.
Role:
Product Development:
- Be the go-to expert on our platform, built on Bubble.io* Own the product management process from beginning to end: requirements/scoping, wireframing, collaborating with the engineering team, and QA* Ensure client launches are delivered on time, within scope, and meet high-quality standards* Develop product documentation and provide training for internal teams, ensuring that customer success and support teams are equipped to assist users effectively
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
- Develop, refine, and execute the SaaS product roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs* Use customer insights, analytics, and market research to prioritize and plan new features or enhancements.
Product Improvement:
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for product performance, using analytic platforms such as Heap* Establish and analyze metrics to continuously improve user experience, onboarding, and feature engagement* Use data-driven insights to inform future roadmap decisions and feature prioritization
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with engineering teams to define scalable solutions for a cloud-based architecture.* Collaborate with Operations team on timelines/execution* Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure that product features address customer and market needs* Pull client reports upon request (from Heap and/or Bubble)
Required Experience:
- Expert in Bubble.io, with at least 5 years of experience coding in Bubble* Experience in wireframing, preferably Figma or Miro* Experience with project management software like Asana* Experience with product analytics software, preferably Heap* Have proven success as the first product manager on a team, setting up new processes and documentation
