Why is my function not displaying 0? Instead, it displays an empty field when there are no results.
Just add to the end "defaulting to $0.00

Yes^ but Avoid operators when possible.
Rather in the database they have a “default value” just set that to 0
Yeah, this is also a way to do it, but this doesn’t account for if there are no payments returned by the search, so if there will always be a payment, then use this, but if not, have it defaulting to $0.00
