How do i assign user roles

I set user roles from option set. There are 3 user types. but I couldn’t figure out how to assign them. I don’t need to have the user select them. For example, there is 1 creator and he needs to invite the admins and the people who come with this invitation need to be tagged as admin. how can I do it?
