How do I remove my index page?

I’m really new to programming, so excuse me! :smile:

I have built a home page on a separate page and was leaving my initial “index” page in case my new home page was worse than my index. Turns out, I got better and want to delete my redundant “index” page and make my new “home” page my landing.

Is there a way I can delete the index page? or somehow reassign the index page to my home, then delete the old index?

Or is my option to painstakingly copy everything from the “home” to “index”?

yes there’s a straight forward way to that, open the page you want to make the new index and right click and select the option “make this page the new index page”.
