i want to use a save button to save all inputs typed into all the input fields on a particular page on my app but the all the dropdown inputs are greyed out and not clickable when i create the workflow action to create a new thing of a type i already created with many fields.
i’m to create this workflow :
“when Save Button is CLicked
create a new thing of type Readings
fields:
Location= dropdown locations value.”
but the dropdown option is greyed out
If I understand your question correctly, I think the clue is right there in your screen shot. It appears to say “incompatible type” beneath each of the disabled items. Double check the “type” of the dropdown as compared to the “type” of the DB field.

i understand dropdown’s value is text if so how do i save this ?
i the following photos really the way to do so after creating then making changes because its another thing?
Maybe refresh the page as that should work.
Yes, long standing bug that 6 months later is still not resolved. Please report bug so maybe more voices is loud enough for them to hear and address the issue. We shouldn’t have to refresh the editor so much.
