How do you use icons in button's text? What with FontAwesome?

How are we supposed to use icons in buttons or wherever? Plugins? Builtin icons? Where to read about it?

two common workarounds are:

• use a text element and style it like a button, the fontaweosome bbcode will work automatically
• put a text and an icon in a group and style the group as a button

Works great. Looks great.

Or just use a button and put an icon on it. And then group it all together.

so Bubble is all about workarounds like that? How comes it is possible to use [fa] BBcode in text and not in buttons?
