How to assign ID to elements

Hi guys, I dont know if this questin been asked before. I need your help on assigning ID to certain elements, for example I need to assign ID to multipline input so then I can target this input using html or javascript. Any info would be helpful.

Under colors check the box to “expose the option…”

Complementing @boston85719 guidance, by checking the expose option in the settings tab will enable an element’s ID atribute to be set in the inferiormost part of its properties editor. An example with a searchbox element:
