How to change a thing's "created by"?

Hi there,

I want to change a thing created by user “x” to user “y”.

How can I do that? I can’t edit the “created by” field from the database. Please help.

Hi there, @praveen… the short answer is you can’t change that field. So, you can delete the thing that was created by x and have y create a new thing or, if “managing” the Created by field is something you need to do on a regular basis, you could consider adding your own field where you store a thing’s creator so you can change it when you need to.
