How to click to show the next item in RG

A RG shows 1 item at a time and would like to have a timed horizontal scroll, however, for quick implementation, how can a user click an icon to advance through a loop of data in RG. I attempted to use the plugin “Listofnumbers” but couldnt advance to the next content. Any suggestions?
