How to copy rich text to clipboard

Hi all! I’ve been struggling for a while with this one. Very grateful for anyone’s ideas. In my app, I have some rich text (a draft email, including formatting like hyperlinks and bullet point lists etc.) that I want my users to copy to their clipboard.

I want to add a ‘copy text’ button that copies the rich text to the user’s clipboard in one click.

However, my attempts so far have only enabled me to copy plain text to the user’s clipboard. The rich text formatting gets stripped away.

Does anyone know of a plugin or another approach that will allow me to have a button that, when clicked, copies some rich text to a user’s clipboard?

No idea if it works for rich text or not but it is a plugin for copying to a clipboard

unfortunately this doesn’t seem to work for rich text.
