If you’ve ever received an Amber Alert or Severe Weather Warning alert you will know exactly what I’m referring to. This is an alert that has a unique ring and continues to ring and vibrate until you click to close it. The massage takes over your screen like this:
I’ve also used other apps in the past that use a similar alerting system. Active911 and IamResponding both use this type of notification system.
I am creating an application for emergency responders and they want this type of notifications to notify responders of new emergencies.
Anyone know how this is created? Is there a service like OneSignal that offers this type of notification?
