How to fix error "notifier_client.js: got error from socket\n\n"

Hey everyone!

I’m looking for some help to fix an error that occurs on my app :person_raising_hand:

I’m using Flusk to monitor errors from my users and it recently flagged this error..

It appears to be a client-side error and happens on the live version of my app.

Here’s an example of the error message that one of my user recently experienced:

"notifier_client.js: got error from socket\n\n"

Here’s what I understand from this error:
It seems to be totally random when this happens.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
I have seen it happen to me recently but when I refresh the page it works just fine as it should.

Do you have any clue what the error is about? And what I should be doing from there?

Any help would be really appreciated :folded_hands:

Hi @J805 ,

Have you had any luck debugging this issue? I have had over 200 occurrences of the error before Flux stopped recording them.

Thanks!

Dan

Nope. No idea. Just errors happening with no explanation. Bubble Support wasn’t helpful either. :man_shrugging:

Thanks for the quick response J805.

Bummer about Bubble support not being helpful. I’m starting to feel like the vast (actually almost all) of the errors that are flagged in Flusk are errors on Bubble’s side. Which does not feel good.

I’ll let you know if I find out anything more about this issue.

Take care,
Dan

Yeah. I’m wondering that too. It appears that very few things are within my control to change it.
