How to prevent mobile screen zooming when Input field is clicked

I’ve searched forum and seen couple of answers for this issue :

  1. Bigger Font size (min 16px)
  2. Settings > prevent user from zooming

But i really want to keep the font size as small as possible, like 12~14px
Is there any way?

On iOS it’s forced unless using a 16 font minimum.

Don’t reinvent the wheel based on your own opinions, follow best practice. Billions have been spent all around by the big companies ensuring the best user experience with best practices they set.
