How to reference data from different repeating group?

I’ve created a repeating group with a separate group on the right that shows the details of the item clicked on in the repeating group. So, the user will click on a particular item and details of it are shown to the right. However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to “get” that data from the repeating group. The repeating group pulls in an item list rather than just a single item, so I can’t use the repeating group as the data source. Ideally, I could say something like “repeating group’s selected cell’s item”, but I don’t see a way of doing that.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Use the workflow action ‘Display Data’ when an element in the RG is clicked to ‘send’ that data to the second Group…
