I’ve been building my native app with mobile in mind only. But now the Apple review team is bringing issues as they’re testing the app on iPad. I don’t really care if my app is not available on Ipad for now, but I’ve read somewhere that you can’t remove the ipad device from the distribution device types on the AppleConnect: you need to do it when you upload the build (from Bubble??)
Any one knows where this option is (if any??)? Are all Bubble.io native apps also distributed on Ipad by default (and can’t be changed)?
I’ve looked it up. My settings show iPhone only (this is what I want). In spite of this, my app still shows as available for iPad on AppleConnect (and Apple review team is using iPad mini to do the review despite my app not being designed for it).
From what I know once you have sent and published a build that also contains iPad devices you can’t go back.. Are you only on TestFlight or has your build been published?
Apple reviewers will almost always test on iPad but if your build is available for iPhone they will see the iPhone format and not iPad.
As stated, the issue is not how to deploy on iPad, but how to restrict to iPhone. AppleConnect shows iPad format (and even Apple Watch!) and my app is being tested on iPad mini even though it’s not designed for it… Thanks for the feedback anyway
Maybe I didn’t explain myself. If you pressed the Bubble deploy button and went to the stores even in the trial version you can’t go back, even if you create a new build by selecting only iPhone.
