Question: from what I understand theoretically the built apps are responsive, so in theory they should work on iPad. But we can’t send to the app stores on iPad because from what I understand in the Xcode compilation file there should be Universal instead of iPhone. This should be the one to publish the iPad version on Apple Store Connect.
I got the below rejection from App Store even though I understand it’s an iPhone-only build. Am I just unlucky with an overzealous reviewer?
Are your apps iPad-responsive on BubbleGo? I checked - mine is not - I think that’s probably why I got rejected.
Several screens of the app were crowded, laid out, or displayed in a way that made it difficult to use the app when reviewed on iPad Air (5th generation) running iPadOS 18.5.
Next Steps
To resolve this issue, revise the app to ensure that the content and controls on the screen are easy to read and interact with.
Note that users expect apps they download to function on all the devices where they are available. Since your app may be downloaded onto iPad devices, it is important that it also function as expected for iPad users.
I sent my mobile app to review and they denied it because it wasn’t responsive for iPad. When the build is made by Bubble it is for iOS, therefore, iPhone and iPad I think.
