How to take the focus out of the 1st field of the popup (good for edit popups)

Hi,

I was having trouble with my ‘edit popup’ which was automatically focusing on the first field (and not showing the previous data input value), like this:

instead of this:
image

I had a hard time and after a while, I found this nice solution:

  1. Add a tiny input of text in the popup near the first field and name it “Input Focus”
  2. Make it invisible (make it very small, transparent or white, and take the borders off)
  3. Add a workflow, to be triggered when the popup loads, that set focus to the “Input Focus”!
