Hello,
I’m setting up a checkout process for my online marketplace platform. This is what I’m trying to do. 1) Buyer has their own shopping cart with multiple items from different sellers ( each item has different price and quantity selected) then the buyer clicks on the checkout button fills his credit card information and gets charged for the items purchased plus a platform service fee ( 1 transaction for all the items). 2) Then the money flows into my platform Stripe account where I keep the platform service fee and later transfer to each seller the corresponding amount for their items and quantity sold in the platform.
I’m having difficulties setting up the workflow to achieve the previously mentioned checkout.
I’m using Stripe plugin made by Bubble.
You can use stripe connect for marketplace. Where the platform fee is automatically sent to your account and the seller amount is automatically transferred to seller account.
I’m aware of that plugin but I want to avoid paying $250 for it.
It’s available in plugin built by bubble, you can see a field for transaction fee, I was not taking about other paid plugins.
Stripe correct for marketplace is the name of the feature by stripe.
Do you mean that field for transaction fee?
I think that transfer fee would be charged to the seller and not the buyer, and I want the buyer to pay for the fee. Also when selecting Trans.payee I think you can only select 1 user and not a list of users.
Yes that’s correct seller will be changed, or else you need to have custom integration where you will charge extra from user and then split
