Hi guys,
How do we use the google auth0 login for mobile app? I installed the plugin but it doesn’t show up in the elements. Is there a step by step guide? the documentation is poor.
Hi guys,

If you’re using Bubble’s official Google plugin, try creating your own Google login button first.
Then on the button workflow look for
Account → Signup/login with a social network → Google. That’s where Bubble normally exposes the Google login action.
Also, since you’re building in the native mobile editor, double-check that the exact plugin you installed actually supports native mobile. There have been cases where plugins show as mobile-compatible, but their elements/actions still don’t appear in the native editor.
Question for you , are you using Bubble’s Google OAuth plugin, or an Auth0 plugin with Google as the provider?
The setup would be different. If you share the exact plugin name, I can try to point you in the right direction. Might be helpful for you.
thaks Sylvia. so I’m using this plugin and this is what I see in the flow. I;ve configured in the plugin the app id and the secret, however, I get an error. Please note I made the config in the google cloud for iOS auth0.
From what I’ve read, you need a backend flow to store and feed the token?! Any chance you can walk me through step by step?
@Sylvia.Maddison_07 , any ideas please?
There’s something in your post that could create confusion: Are you using Auth0?
oAuth is not the same thing. Using the Google oAuth plugins is different than using Auth0…
Thanks @Jici , what’s the best way to do it then? I want people to be able to login and sign up with google and apple.
Using the Bubble Google Auth plugin in most case.
But be sure to configure everything correctly!
is there a documentation for the bubble official one please? Can you be a bit more specific? I can’t find a way. thanks
yeah, i checked the current Bubble docs. the important bit is that native mobile doesn’t use the normal browser OAuth flow.
the official plugin docs are here:
Google OAuth 2.0 with Profile Info plugin
for native mobile, Bubble specifically says to:
id_token using the native Google Sign-In SDKid/email to find or create the Bubble userso you won’t find a Google login element in the native editor. the plugin is meant to handle the verification server-side.
Google’s backend auth docs are here too:
Google ID token verification
if you’re using ios, i’d focus on getting the native Google Sign-In → id_token → Bubble backend flow working rather than trying to use the regular OAuth button. (bubble.io)
