How to use Page HTML Header?

I am experimenting with the Page HTML Header on a free plan app and trying to add a script to the page.

However, when I preview the page, the alert pop-up does not appear. Additionally, when I check the page source, I cannot find the script I added. Could you help me understand why this is happening?
