When you call an external API from inside a workflow, you don’t have any way of seeing the API reponse output data model.
You need to go in the API Connector plugin, find your API call, and clic “Manually enter API response” only to find the data model opened in a tiny popup.
→ not talking about the fact that this section is critical & prone to misclics with heavy consequences !
It would be good to have access to the API response data model directly from the workflow tab.
Icing on the cake: the ability to rename datatypes names that are auto-generated from API response.
From my experience, I get a lot of datatypes with stupid names like “{API call name} body item data item”
We could have the response data model auto generated in the Note panel :
