I'm brand new to Bubble am am fighting with group formatting

Hello I am brand new to Bubble and am loving it so far but two things I just cannot work out:

  1. When using Groups I cannot move them around “freely”. They just snap into the edges (despite clicking “do not snap elements”.

  2. I cannot extend the page more than 767 px.

Any help appreciated!

Elements are positioned within parent elements according to the layout settings of both the element and the parent element…

What do you mean by this?.. can’t extend it where?
