Impossible to create Pivot Tables in Bubble? (like in Excel)

Hello,

I’m having a difficult time figuring out how to make a Pivot Table in Bubble. I’ve searched the Forum, but could not find a solution. It seems to be a problem not solved before.

A Pivot Table is a special kind of table with dynamic data in the “row header” and in the “column header”, and the corresponding data in the “body” (aggregated or not). See an example below:

In the Pivot Table above, “Date” is like a RG with N columns; “Thing” another RG with N columns, and “Value” is the difficult piece to figure out.

I have tried Repeating Groups and nested RGs, but couldn’t make it work.

Pivot Tables are really valuable for displaying insightful data to users, so if anyone has figured this out, please share it with the community.

This is easily doable using RGs grouping your data by “dates” and “things”. What’s the issue you are facing?
